Operation
"Sea Rib" is a jet driven fast response support vessel for Sea Lift Barges. Sea Rib provides safe crew access to and from Sea Lift. Especially in shallow water and beach access.
During steady Sea States, Sea Rib can provide direct access to the access gangway alongside Sea lift. Sea Rib has a purpose build beach trailer. It can be launch off the beach and handle heavy weather. Sea Rib is also quite fast though the water so will reduce travelling times to site.
Going to and from site in wind chop and swell is a calm and smooth ride thanks to Sea Rib’s deep vee hull. The full suite of navigational support equipment, GPS Plotter, Depth Sounder and Radio gear provides optimum safety for the crew and operations.
Beach Launching
Sea Rib has a purpose built beach launching developed for remote area barge access. It has big balloon tires and a reversible a frame. This means it can be launched either bow or stern into the water with the barge crew on board so there is no boarding issues. Eg: Walking though the water.
